The first Essentials First’s annual Day of Action is happening on Monday, January 26, 2026 in Olympia, and we invite you to mark your calendars and join us!  

This day is grounded in a simple truth: everyone deserves access to basic hygiene and the dignity that comes with it.

Community members and advocates will come together from 11 AM to 4 PM on Monday January 26 to elevate hygiene access as a legislative priority in Washington State and push for policies that reflect the real experiences of people navigating hygiene insecurity. This Advocacy Day is about moving closer to a Washington where hygiene access is treated as essential.
