Hygiene Champions

Hygiene Champions is Essentials First’s family of youth programs. This includes both summer and school-year programs including education and experience around Media, Advocacy, Community Service, and Non-Profit Development.

School-Year Programming

The Essentials First Hygiene Champions School-Year Program is now in session. We kicked things off with orientation on September 12, 2025. Now through June, Hygiene Champions are meeting weekly and working together on projects in areas like tech and media, advocacy, direct service, and community engagement. This program is open to all students ages 11 to 22.

Hygiene Champions will develop leadership experience and professional skills through hands on opportunities in these areas, contribute to their community, and earn volunteer hours.
