Support a Family Program

The Essentials First Support a Family Program provides year-long essential hygiene support, as well as food and other assistance, for 12 local families.

Families are selected for inclusion based on need, with priority given to low income, single parent, and refugee households, seniors, veterans, and neighbors living with disabilities.

Anonymized information about these 12 families is then made available on the Essentials First website for donors to review and contribute one time or year-long to providing essential hygiene and other support to one or several of these families.

Gifts to the Support a Family Program are typically Zakat eligible.
