Become a Hygiene Champion

The Essentials First Hygiene Champions program attempts to identify student leaders who have the ability to create Essentials First clubs in their schools to collect hygiene products on a recurring basis. High school students are required to provide 40 hours of volunteer service to be able to graduate and so working towards creating awareness around hygiene poverty using data and statistics to build momentum and following up with executing hygiene drives in schools can be a great opportunity.

Become a hygiene champion

Moomal Siddiqui, a freshman at TESLA STEM High school recently got together with her friends to collect and pack hygiene kits containing shampoo, conditioner, feminine hygiene products, toothpaste, toothbrushes, razors, anti-bacterial wipes, bar soap, hand wash, liquid dish soap, detergent.  Moomal and her friends were able to pack 26 hygiene kits.

Dahlia Parekh along with her friend Vieira conducted a successful hygiene drive as part of their National Charity League project and dropped off 38 hygiene kits at our Bellevue office. Dahlia presented to the Essentials First case for support at the NCL meeting and impressed upon the severity of the hygiene crisis in WA.

If you are a youth leader, who is passionate about filling a gap in humanitarian services, please send us an email at admin@essentialsfirst.org to sign up to be a Hygiene Champion.
